As months go by, the increasing amount of letters we receive from our ardent fans are nothing short of spectacular. It gives us great satisfaction to see the impact EPL magazine has on many people's lives. Although not all could make it for print and only one writer wins the latest eyewear from adidas, we ensure you that all your letters are read and we'll do our best to reply as promptly as we can. Keep it coming boy's and girls. We enjoy it just as much as you do.

Play it like Rugby

How many times have we watched an evenly contested match end up with team walking away with full points. Just because of a mistake by a linesman waving for offside, or the resulting goal being disallowed? The game between Birmingham and Everton was a case in point. It must have left Bruce seething and city fans disconsolate. Until technology, including using a chip in the match ball or the use of two goal-mouth referees, as suggested by FIFA is in place, why doesn't the FA sanction the referee to hold up play and review the incident - as they seemed to have done efficiently in the Rugby World Cup. The attacking team should always be given the benefit of the doubt - linesmen seem to forget this!! -P Chung Min

Referee!@$!@#$

It is amazing, at times this inconsistency in refereeing. Perhaps we've believed that an English referee exemplifies fair play and common sense. However, in the game between man united and Wigan not too long ago, this was not the case. I feel if man united had drawn or lost the game, the referee would have been in for a tirade of abuse. Eg.1: Rooney drawing back his legs to avoid hurting a Wigan defender after having committed himself to a tackle was awarded a yellow card!! Eg.2: Ronaldo had tackles that warranted free kicks - none were given. Non-sensible refereeing!! - Phua Ong

Shut Up Barton

I can't believe Barton said what he said, saying "because Newcastle is my bread and butter, henceforth England can sod off". What he's doing is having a dig at Owen, who is his Newcastle teammate?! On his day, Barton is a decent player, but I hope he keeps his opinions to himself because clearly not having played much for England himself, I'm sure he would be the last person one consulted on all matters England. - C. Fergies's Fledglings: 2nd Gen

If ferguson's younger players can play more games together, I fell they'll gain a greater measure of confidence. They'll not only play attractive football, Man U will score more! Their passing however, must be fluid and running into space must be sure- this will come if they play more Premier League games. Then they will be a match for the young guns of Arsenal. -Benny Ho

Much ado about Lampard

There's a something about Lampard that just makes you want to boo him. It's not because he plays for Chelsea, because to be honest, I would loathe that stinker Joe Cole. But with Frank, it's his arrogance? He appears to be a down-to-earth bloke, so humble it borders on arrogance. And he goes around aloof, telling the press he won't die from getting boo-ed. And voila, you get boo-ed for being a hard nut. Just admit you played like s*** and we'll forgive you Frank. - S. Bussy
